Title: Todays show. 4/17/07

Meags - April 17, 2007 11:12 PM (GMT)
Anyone see it? It was pre-empted for me today. Really sad about the shooting. It's a shame so many people have to pay for this, has anyone heard why he did it?

Anyways the reason I asked was I thought that Clint and Dorian were supposed to be on today with Nash.

Today's show was preempted. I am watching SoapNet and it is yesterday's broadcast.

LovesTheDrama - April 18, 2007 01:53 AM (GMT)
I emailed Chicago ABC and got a nice reponse that the show was postponed until tomorrow. We won't miss any episodes. So, tomorrow we get to see the dynamic duo and the annoying ex wife visit Nash.

Ginny's come up with a new tag line! :D

That's a GREAT one too! Love it!

LovesTheDrama - April 18, 2007 04:04 PM (GMT)
thank you. If I had been writing in a private post, I would have come up with another name for the annoying ex wife.

Meags - April 18, 2007 07:55 PM (GMT)
UGH UGH UGH. I missed today too because I set my DVD recorder for 3am instead of pm. And I had a doctors appointment so I missed it  Anyone want to fill me in?

Nothing too exciting - C/D were never alone, every scene was with Viki, and it was all about what's up with Jess and is Nash hiding something. But, the whole time, he was Dorian's man. :D I've only seen it once, so if anyone thinks I missed something, please add.

They started the show in the car, Clint driving, Dorian in the front passenger seat, and Viki in the middle of the back seat - discussing where Jessica may have gone. Dorian thinks it's a great idea to go look for Jess, and Viki snapped that if she was so concerned why didn't she take her own car [alone] so they could cover more ground. Dorian has no idea where to look. Viki suggests they try Nash's. During the conversation, Dorian makes subtle jabs at Viki - one example, Dorian can understand someone's emotions overwhelming them, especially if they're passionate about something, but Viki wouldn't know about that. Clint wasn't getting upset at all, even though you could tell he knew what Dorian was doing. He was much more worried and concerned about Jess than he was about Viki's current discomfort around Dorian.

Anyway, they show up at Nash's and ask if he knows what happened with Jess. Nash said she hasn't come by or called and if she's not with Antonio, he doesn't know where she is. Clint and Viki try to get Nash to talk about why Jess would be so upset and not wanting to adopt Jamie, but all Nash says is she must be confused and as those who love Jess, they should support her in whatever she wants.

Not getting any answers out of Nash, they finally decide to leave, though Clint threatens Nash that if he finds out Nash is hiding something, he'll wring his neck. It was a quiet restrained, "I like you, but I love my daughter more" type threat. As they were leaving, Clint reached for Dorian's arm to take her hand (it looked like) but then settled his hand on her shoulder and then he guided her out with a hand on her back. Viki told Nash that Jess was still fragile and should be allowed to make her own decisions without pressure, and Nash replied that he told Jess that before she married Antonio.

Their last scene was in the car, Clint driving, but Dorian had moved to the back seat with Viki up front. Dorian rubbed Clint's shoulder and then asked what they thought was really going on between Jess & Nash. Viki snapped whatever it is, it's none of Dorian's business. Clint's look at Viki seemed a cross between worry for Jess and a little disapproval over talking to Dorian that way (to those who watched, did I read his look right?).

Yeah he looked like he wanted to snap at the annoying ex but he just didn't have the heart.

And he was all Dorian's man today. They were working the we're a couple thing for sure. But then again Clint has made his choice. Move on to your insipid hand holding annoying ex. Love it!

Oh can Viki get any bitchier? I mean Viki WOULD NOT ride with Clint to the courthouse because she's so self righteous and indignant that he wants to be wanted and needed by a woman who's willing to put him first in his life. (the jerk ---the day my hubby says I'm not his #1 he'll be sleeing in his car *ahem*) BUT when Clint and Dorian go to look for Jessica and Viki TAGS along she has the  to tell Dorian to mind her own business?

What are you doing in the car Icky? Go get in the car you INSISTED upon driving to the courthouse. Free n2.gif the dynamic duo from his boring domineering ex!

Clint was definitely Dorian's man today. Not that his attention to Dorian took away from his worry about Jessica, but the looks he gave Dorian and Viki told us who he's "with."

Emily, good recap. The one thing I wanted to add was when Viki told Nash that Jessica is still fragile she said fra-gile. I hate the way she says it. I really wish in the opening scene Dorian had pointed out to Viki that since Viki had a better idea of where Jessica would go that Viki and Clint should have been in separate cars.

Clint definitely frowned at Viki when she said that whatever was going on between Nash and Jessica was none of Dorian's business.

Man oh man is Antonio scary ugly when he's mad. The veins in his neck were about to pop.

Ginny ITA---

But this smells so much like Sloan-Viki-Clint that I can't stand it!

I will say Antonio gave her a few opportunities to come clean today. I just WISH she would!

 Ginny you are so funny. Your observations always make me laugh. Of course I got my own thrills from watching this eppy. I got my Dorian/Nash/Clint scenes, so I enjoyed the exchanges. I want more Dorian/Nash/Clint scenes. :D Also, I love the way that Dorian and Clint find a way to touch each other. image22.jpg

Cheryl!

I didn't even register you got "family" scenes today! Oh such happy eh? Loved how Dorian was all checking the place out. And oh the touching. Every stinking scene they find a way to touch. Clint and Dorian are so ALL about each other and the actors are making sure we notice! A few small bits and they are able to make their point very clear!

Thank you. You all make me laugh a lot.

I thought that Jessica's goal today was to tell Antonio that she has chosen to be with Nash. But it was to be able to talk with Jamie and try to make Jamie feel better about what happened. But Antonio isn't having any of that. When he started yelling at her, like he might not forgive her, I was thinking Oh Antonio, she wants out, it doesn't matter if you forgive her or not. But Jessica does care about Jamie, a lot, and it's killing her to not be able to go to her. We may not hear Jessica tell Antonio for quite some time.

I loved how Dorian was looking around Nash's place. And the more she did, the more I was thinking that it looked like the Mill House--the one that Cassie and Kevin lived in. The door to the right side of the fireplace reminded me of the one that went up that narrow, turned staircase.

Lots of touching - right in front of the annoying ex. Love it.
