Title: Dorian is in love with Clint

I have been seeing it happen for awhile now, especially when she was so persistent in wooing him back. She wanted a fresh start when he finally decided that he wanted to spend his life with her as his romantic partner. Today, when David mentioned that she loves him, she was quick to denouce such a claim but Dorian would not have done all that she has done if it were an infatuation or need to seek revenge to hurt Viki. The scenes last Thursday of them making love were very sweet and tender. I saw then too that these two were falling in love with each other. Clint is a strong man and he has been resistent to breaking down because he felt the need to be strong for his family. Earlier, he told Dorian that he didn't want to go home with her for that very reason. But alone with her being soothing, caring and attentive, he fell apart in her arms and she consoled him through his troubles. The key to writing a romance isn't hearing the words but in seeing it before those words are ever spoken.

Last year Dorian admitted to David that she thinks she's falling in love with Clint. I believed it to be an honest moment for Dorian - David certainly believed her. And, it appears that love has only grown for Clint as Dorian pursued him. Dorian is very caring, loving, and attentive to Clint when they're alone. She's so in-the-moment with Clint that it has nothing to do with Viki.
Adriana wondered if Dorian loves Clint, but Dorian wasn't ready to have that discussion. And, of course she's not going to tell David the intimate details of her romance with Clint. If it was all about Viki, Dorian would want to spill but she didn't - she kept her relationship with Clint private.
I also agree that Dorian has been very giving with Clint and his loved ones. She didn't hesitate to be tested for Jessica and she's tracking down everyone she can to be tested as well. Why bother if she didn't love Clint? She certainly wouldn't have forced David into being tested if she didn't want to sincerely help Clint so much. There have been no scenes of Dorian admitting (even to herself) that she's getting Viki good - and she continues to praise Clint to even those who know her best (like David and Blair).

Right, if Dorian had some less than genuine motive when it came to Clint, we would see it with her cheering each minor victory when it comes to Clint; we sure didn't see it after he chose her over Viki. We also don't hear of anything other than honest feelings of care and respect when she speaks to others about him. She is falling in love and it's for real.

It's for real - for both of them. And I'm so happy to be watching it.

It's been interesting watching Dorian advise Starr about love. She, of course, is speaking from her own experience. But if you take her words and apply it to what's happening in her life, you can understand her hesitancy to admitting to love. For instance, she told Starr that she knows the pain of love, that she has experienced pain a few times after falling in love with the wrong person. Later in the kitchen at Llanfair, she tells her niece that she mustn't let cynicism overrule her emotions.
Dorian: Ok, enough of the cynicism because, Starr, I honestly believe that you are a true romantic, and you mustn’t allow that precious emotion to drown and set your heart adrift just because you've had some bad luck with one boy.
Langston: "Set your heart ." That is -- that’s great stuff.
Dorian: Thank you. So, darling, I want you to know that you shouldn’t close yourself down because someday, someday you are going to want to feel free to open your heart again to someone new. Do you understand?
Starr: I suppose.
I do understand Dorian. I want Clint to show you that it's OK to love again.
