user posted image Well I just watched and Clint has me feeling his growing fear that he might lose his "Yellow Rose." JvD has been featured heavily in this storyline and I am very happy to finally see it. I am so glad to see him not blend into the background like I fear he did too often in the DID storyline with Jess. It is so important to show the family's anguish and Clint is showing his strength through this difficulty. Today, he was there to calm Viki and reassure Jess. But he couldn't hide his anxiety on the telephone with Nash and Antonio. And when he held Jessie's hand with Viki on the other side of their daughter's bed, I felt such empathy for him at facing the possible loss of someone he clearly cherishes. "Jessie, you hang on," he insisted with a hint of desparation. "Hang on Jessie. Nash and Antonio, they are going to be here very soon." I am looking forward to tomorrow's show and maybe seeing Dorian soon, too. Clint needs her.

JvD was so good today, Emily. You are probably used to it. I am learning about him more and more as a performer and today showed what he can do when given the opportunity and material and also when he is permitted to step out of the shadows.

In this episode, there wasn't much with Clint and Dorian, though you could sense her ever present support. ES's Viki has been given her moments with Jessie. At a key point, today was about Clint and his daughter in my eyes. My heart ached at the sweet words of a cowboy in willing his Jessie to live. I applaud Mr. verDorn on a job well done. sunset.jpg

Yeah, it's been a while since I've seen JvD get this kind of material - he was wonderful as always. I'm glad that Clint got time alone with Jessica. He's been very quiet, collected, and strong in being there for the family, and it's nice to know he's got his own support in Dorian.

I agree with both of you. Jerry has been doing a wonderful job making me believe how much Clint cares for Jessica. Dang, I wish they would find out that he is Jessica's biological father. Not that it matters, but I would like it.
