I love OLTL Costume Designer Susan Gammie when it comes to Dorian and Dorian's attire on the 6.11.07 show is one of my favorite outfits for the character. It reminds me of the character.... bold with dramatic flair and sexiness. Robin often speaks of clothes being like an armor for Dorian so I typically check out what she is wearing. I knew with the outfit that Dorian wanted to draw attention away from her words when necessary, which means that she is on a mission to get what she wants. Dangerous Diva! gun.jpg

Now blue is more cool and calculating. I don't know who is a member of The World of Soap Themes (www.wost.org) but the 1994 episode where Dorian is newly-released from prison and attends a Fourth of July party at the Country Club is featured. She is dressed in blue and returns to enact revenge against the person responsible for placing her behind bars -- Viki.

I love the necklace she's wearing with the red suit. I can't remember if Robin has ever talked about the importance of the jewelry.

I don't think she has specifically, but I could be wrong. Were those rubies? If so, the ruby signifies courage. I seem to recall that Dorian wore this suit before or something similar when she visited John at his apartment and asked him to go easy on David after he had been arrested for killing John's father. She wore pearls with the outfit. That particular episode is up at Robin's official website. I enjoy John/Dorian but of course, not so much in a romantic way.
