I love the exchange on the 4.3.07 show (from Tvmegasite.net). It shows exactly who Clint wants because the description is so dead-on:
Clint: Yeah, as far as you're concerned, Dorian, to say that there's bad blood between our families would be underestimating it by a mile. You know, you are equal parts amazing, mysterious, alluring. You're also frustrating, exasperating, manipulative, self-absorbed, self-righteous --
Dorian: Thank you. I get the point.
Clint: Again, I'm all of those things myself.
Dorian: We have a lot in common.
Clint: Yeah, maybe too much, huh? You know, I'm surprised that you're still interested in me, considering the way I've treated you lately.
Dorian: Excuse me. Who said I was still interested?
Clint: Well, you were, you know, in recent days.
Dorian: Yeah. Things change. I am mercurial.
Clint: Mercurial -- I forgot about that one.
"Mercurial" is one trait that I love most about Dorian. This dialogue preceded Clint asking Dorian to share her life with him. He went into it all with his eyes wide open. He wants this woman. She is his choice. And she wants him. She asked for a fresh start. I want them to have it. To be clear, there is something in this relationship for Clint. He wants to live life in the present; to enjoy life. He has been smiling more since he has been with Dorian. I'm thinking she has been able to give him a fulfillment that he needs. Actually, he has made similar comment.
It's hard to believe it's only a little over 2 months since that scene. Seems like they have been back together much longer.
Totally agree - Clint is much happier with Dorian. Even with everything that's been going on with Jessica, Dorian has made him smile.
