Dorian is acting jealous.) Dorian implies that Viki is a “lonely vindictive spiteful” woman who is with David to get back at her. Dorian says that David is out of Viki’s league. Dorian says that Viki is throwing herself at David and it is pathetic. She says that she knows for a fact David has not been attracted to her. David returns and Viki kisses him.

Chicago. Sarah comes back to the apartment and sees Cris/Blair/Rex in the bedroom. She takes off and Rex, Cris run after her.
Scene 4

Chicago. Sarah tells them that Hunter brought Todd to her place. She says that Todd had been stabbed. Sarah says that she planned to dump Hunter and then she realized that it was Todd, who was the injured person. She didn’t call the police because she said that she was scared. So she called Blair. Blair thinks that she is lying.
Scene 6
Llanfair. David and Viki are kissing and groping. David suggests to Dorian that she leave before things get too awkward or she has to pay the price of admission for the show. Dorian wises up, says this is a show and it is a shame they are doing all of this for her benefit. She says that Viki can’t stand the thought of her being in a real relationship with Clint. She boasts that Clint is waiting for her in her bedroom. David wants to know why she’s doing there. She says that she was trying to save him from Viki’s clutches and that the thought of Viki/David makes her nauseous. Viki suggests she go home. Dorian says the entire farce was a waste of time. David denies it’s a farce and says that he has always had a thing for Viki but he had to work his way up to her. Dorian raises her hand to him. “How dare you?!” David continues that Viki is extraordinary, blah, blah. Viki and David kiss. They stop and look at Dorian. David makes a comment about her still being there. She said that she is going home where the passion is real. Viki says that she finds it hard to believe that Clint is waiting for her when he is aware that she is at Llanfair. Dorian says, “We are rock solid!” She leaves. Viki and David laugh at what they have done.
Chicago. Cris and Rex get Blair to back off of Sarah. Sarah says that she knew she and Hunter had to get outta the apartment before Blair arrived from Llanview. She said that she left the door open for Blair. Cris backs her up that the door was open when they arrived. Do you think the casual observer would notice that Dorian's hair was different at Llanfair? That was really low of David to imply that he used Dorian to work his way up to Viki.

I don't know I think we are likely to notice what's up with Dorian because we are fans. David reminded me of the David during the Malone era when he first came on the show. Very shallow, self-absorbed and out for the almightly dollar, even mean. I didn't find him in the least charming today. What was interesting is what has become of both Dorian and Viki. They both have become petty in their vindictiveness toward each other. And really, it has lead to them being alone. Viki has David there but David is as empty a man as you will find. I actually think that's how Tuc likes him, so it's not meant as an insult. As David spent time with Dorian and the audience wanted a romance, I think it began to detract from the spirit of the David character. I am not sure he is meant to care for anyone but himself. Dorian, however, does have other dimensions to her. What she did today was stupid but she is lead by her impulses and she was jealous--jealous that Viki would have something that she felt belonged to her in terms of emotional attachment. Dorian wants David to go on loving her and she wants Clint, too. It is not fair to either man but really, Clint is the only one I care about and she did not consider his feelings. I am glad Clint was not waiting for her when she got home. It's not about taking delight in her suffering but for her to have a growth in character from the experience. She will not be perfect but she will pause to reflect on Clint being a priority in her life if again she finds herself in similar position. Dorian needs to reflect on what she wants. She doesn't need to take Clint for granted. Sometimes apologies don't work.

Well, it wasn't fun to see Dorian get played that badly, but I agree that she did walk right into it (but that's who she is). Clint knew it would hurt and she would feel foolish. That's why he asked/told her not to go - not to "tell her what to do and change her" but because he cares and didn't want to see her hurt. When he left her bedroom, he was more sad at what she chose than upset. Naturally, he was also wondering how important he really was to her if she had to put V/D first. Though her issues with Viki and David are so engrained that they work on her on the subconscious level.
Actually, after re-watching yesterday's show, I still couldn't follow Dorian's logic on how it was better to confront V/D and acknowledge they were trying to make her jealous. Showing any kind of outraged reaction would just encourage them. She was talking circles around Clint's common sense (do you think she really believed what she was saying?). She does have to reflect on what's really important to her. She is formidable and works to get her way, and her last major relationship was with boy-toy David who let her lead as long as she supported his lifestyle. Clint is his own man, and she can't treat him the way she did David.
I'm somewhat disappointed that she still hasn't gotten what Clint was trying to say. She was so confident that she was right, that she expected Clint to be there waiting, happy to see her again. Maybe she was finally getting it at the end of today's show after finding him gone. I hope she gets some interesting character development out of this. I don't want her to change her basic nature, but they could write her as an adult instead of a child. This is a new challenge for both Dorian and Clint, and their journey together could be fascinating, if the writers care.
On Monday, I think she's going to try charm at first and laugh it off, especially since Nora will be there. But Clint will hold his ground and she'll realize how hurt he really is. She can't just put a band-aid on this.

I am wondering if Clint will be resistant to even speaking with Dorian; Nora will want to leave; Clint will insist that she stay because Dorian has nothing to say to him and then Dorian will be forced into the position of speaking her mind in front of Nora. This will have some significance since Dorian has so much pride. Nora, too, will see that Dorian is serious about her romance with Clint and that may later serve as an eye opener when Nora and Viki chat. Asking that Dorian be depicted with intelligence is not asking that she change the essence of her nature. We are talking about Viki here so sometimes she may even fail in controlling her impulses. I just want her to make the attempt. What she did today was dumb and hurtful to someone she claims is important to her. Up until now, I think Clint thought that he and Dorian were on the same page with their feelings. I believe he questioned that when she left to go to Llanfair. So what is Clint going to say to Dorian?

He did - she hoped he knew what he meant to her and he said he had an idea, which is why he was disturbed that she was so hot to run off and confront V/D and leave him there alone. One of the issues the dialogue set up was for them to define just what their feelings are.
I think Clint will be resistant to speak to her too, especially if she tries to charm her way out of it at first. Clint has shown that he understands what's going on and can read Dorian, Viki, and David. She's going to have to be honest and real with him.

I am looking forward to Monday if we get writing like we got on Thursday. I want them to be honest and real with each other and hey, "us." The dialogue definitely teased that they were on the "verge" of something and they didn't even give us a preview of them at the end of today's show. That is just WRONG!

I'm not able to tape the show where I am so just going from memory, I'd have to say that Dorian wasn't paying attention to what she was saying as much as she was focused on breaking up Viki and David while reassuring Clint. Dorian is overly confident most of the time. The false bravada helps her through many situations. I believe she was jealous and also outraged that they could be laughing at her. She had to confront them and let them know that she was on to them, that she was smart. I don't think that she thought it through that they might turn the tables on her or that her reaction would just egg them on. Clint probably envisioned it as it played out.
