Scene 1
Todd’s body underneath the bridge is shown.
Carlotta’s Diner. Markko/Starr/Cole/Langston. Starr talks about Todd. Cole is jumpy.
Marcie/Michael’s Apt. Marcie/Tommy/Lindsay. Lindsay wonders how long Marcie is going to put off telling Michael about her infertility.
Hospital. Miles/Marty. They are hostile; Miles talks about matrimony and vows. Marty walks away.
Jess’ room. Natalie/Viki/Jess/Clint/Nash. Dorian comes in the room and says that David has been wheeled down to surgery. Clint says so he’s going through with it, huh? Viki says again that David is a hero. Michael enters the room; he has heard about the wedding. Jessica codes out and as Michael checks on her, Michael yells that he wants everyone out of the room. NOW!
Scene 2
The Park. Vince/Layla. They talk about OPP.
Marcie and Michael’s Apartment. Marcie continues to be resistant to telling Michael about her pregnancy difficulties. Lindsay tells her the longer she waits the more difficult it will be.
Hospital. Jess’ room. Michael yells again for everyone to leave. Dorian reminds everyone to leave. Dorian takes Clint's hand. Nash is freaking out. “We can’t lose her now! Not now!”
Scene 3
Jess is on the operating table.
Next we see everyone in the waiting area. Michael says he is going to the gallery and watch. Dorian says that she has spoken to the nurses to keep them informed. Viki tells Michael to go home to Marcie. He agrees and leaves.
Miles/Marty are still being snippy with each other. Miles seems worried about Jess. Natalie dips into their conversation; she doesn't like how Marty is treating Miles.
Dorian and Clint. Dorian says, “Clint I know that you’re furious at David.” He says that he is. Dorian says Jessica’s life is worth the $10 mill he paid David. Bo overhears, frowns and asks, "What?"
Carlotta’s Diner. Brittney and her friends enter the place and sit down at a table. They eavesdrop on Cole/Starr/Markko/Langston. Cole says that he doesn’t want Todd to mess things up for him and Starr. Cole has a flashback of his conversation with Miles to keep what’s happened to Todd a secret. Starr thinks Miles is up to something. Brittney notes that Cole doesn’t want to talk about Starr’s dad.
Underneath the bridge, a man tosses something for his dog that lands near Todd’s body. The dog sniffs around an unconscious Todd. (awful!)

Scene 4
The Park. Vince/Layla talk about the type of guy Vince is. He says he is trying to better himself.
Michael/Marcie’s Apt. Michael enters; they talk about the wedding and Jessica/David having surgery. Lindsay leaves. Marcie tells Michael she has to talk to him about something.
Hospital. Jess is in surgery. They don’t know how much longer Jess can hold on.
Miles/Marty/Natalie in waiting area. Miles excuses that Marty is on edge because of concern for Jess. Marty leaves. Natalie says that Marty is not being sympathetic considering Jess is his niece.
Bo/Dorian/Clint. Bo is furious. Bo says that David is going to Statesville as soon as he is done with surgery. Bo wants to know if Viki knows. Clint says that Viki isn’t to know. Bo accuses Dorian of being in cahoots with Vickers. Clint wants to talk to his brother alone to straighten things out. Dorian decides to get coffee. Bo says that Asa would have a stroke if he knew. Clint says Asa is the reason for it all. Bo wants to know what's going on. Clint resists. Bo says that he isn't’ easing up until he tells him. Clint says that if Bo arrests David, he's going to have to arrest Asa.
Carlotta’s Diner. Starr wants to call her mother to see if there is news about Todd from Blair distributing the flyer; Cole stops her and says Blair would call her if she heard something. Brittney again overhears and suggests Cole is being suspiciously jumpy with Starr.
The dog sniffs around Todd’s body until the owner calls for him/her.

Scene 5
The Park. Layla/Vince. Vince says that Layla had a lot to do with making him want to change. They kiss.
Marcie/Michael's Apt. Marcie tells Michael she can’t have children.
Hospital. Operating Room. The surgery is going smoothly for David/Jess.
Viki/Nash. Viki says that Nash needs to be strong for Jess.
Natalie/Miles. Natalie wanted to know why he married Marty. He says it was for love. Marty has reentered and sits nearby.
Bo/Clint. Clint has shared the full story with Bo, who isn't surprised. Clint wants to know if he is going to arrest Asa. Bo says that he won’t arrest his dad at his age and with his health problems. He won’t be responsible for his father’s death.

Scene 6
Carlotta’s Diner. Cole/Markko/Starr/Langston. They talk about going to the movies. Langston and Starr leave for the restrooms/phone (I wasn’t paying attention). Brittney talks about going to the movies.
Marcie/Michael. Marcie is crying and talking about all the tests she’s had done. Marcie says that she can’t conceive because of narrow cervix; she says that she has an abnormally shaped uterus. She adds that even if she conceived, she couldn’t carry the baby. Michael wants to talk to the doctors. Marcie says that they are just going to tell him what they told her. She sobs in his arm. He tells her that it’s OK.
Hospital. Paige and the doctor in surgery with her are talking about Jess and saying the prognosis is still iffy at best.
Clint/Bo. Clint says that he is sorry that he has put Bo in this position. Bo says it wasn't him; it was Asa and this is just one more thing for which his father can’t be forgiven. Bo walks away. Dorian comes back with coffee and she apologizes for David doing this to Clint. Clint seems warmed by the gesture and smiles. He says she couldn't have stopped him. She says that she wishes she could have stopped him.
Lindsay enters from the elevator and sees Bo. She asks about Jess. Lindsay wants to know if he is OK. She says that she knows when something is stuck in his craw. Bo says there is something he should do but he can’t because it would tear his family apart.
A nurse enters the wait area where everyone is and asks for Nash. Nash asks if Jess is OK.

Scene 7
The Park. Vince relates a story about a tree bark (he's holding it in his hand) and Africa and the meaning.(I kind of zoned out.) Layla says that she will give the bark to Evangeline when she sees her.
Michael/Marcie. Marcie talks about adoption. Michael still seems in shock. Marcie says no matter what happens, they have a child. He tells her again that everything will be OK.
The Hospital. Paige is worried about keeping Jess under much longer without a risk to the heart.
Wait area. The nurse says that she wanted to bring back Jess' wedding ring. The surgery isn’t finished, the nurse relates. Viki leaves to check on Bree. Nash sits beside Marty and returns the ring to her. Nash leaves. Marty stares at the ring and gets tearful. Miles walks toward her and Marty points out that the ring in her hand is from her real husband. She leaves. Natalie again says that she can't believe how Marty treats him.
Dorian and Clint are sitting together. Dorian is rubbing his shoulder. Dorian says that he didn't’ have any choice but to tell Bo about Asa. Clint says that he knows. Clint is worried that this may cost Bo his job.
Bo/Lindsay. Bo says that he knows what he has to do but he doesn’t feel right about it. Lindsay tells Bo that if no one is getting hurt, he should go with his gut. Bo’s gets a text message. He approaches Clint/Dorian; tells them he has to leave. Bo tells Clint not to worry. "I’ll live with it for the sake of the family." He leaves and so does Lindsay.
Miles calls Cole. Cole steps away from the table to take the call. Miles wants to make sure Cole is keeping the secret. Cole says that he is tired of lying to Starr about her dad when he knows that Miles has Todd. Brittney eavesdrops. Starr/Langston return and Starr asks Cole who was on the phone. Cole lies and says that it was his mom. Brittney is paying attention and looks curious.
Todd awakens. He stands, walks, stretches.
The episode ends.

Thanks for the thread Cheryl. I'm working so will watch when I get home. It doesn't look like Dorian and Clint had much time together.

They didn't have much. This wasn't that great of an episode, IMO. The stuff with Todd is just off the charts AWFUL. I am empathetic to Marcie's situation but I really don't like seeing the tears from Marcie--been too much of it in her storylines. The stuff with the surgery was flat. Why waste the airtime on two people talking about the patient? I couldn't be less interested in Layla and Vince. Then there was Starr and the teens talking about what to do on a summer day. Lastly we had more Marty and Miles. Yup. I really like Dorian and Clint. I just have to. :blink: They had a few seconds together where they showed that they cared for each other in interaction but overall today was a bust.
Oh and my hiatus is up. I have to go back to the land of the working so no more live threads. Sorry.

I'm sorry you have to go back to work - not just because of the live threads, but I'm guessing you enjoy having the time off.

It's not like anyone thinks they aren't going to make it. Plus surgeries on soaps always look so fake.

Hey, thanks for the LT. I missed today, but by the sounds of it I didn't miss much. I have a couple days off comming next week, unless something comes up I should be able to do the live thread starting on tuesday, I think. I make no promises.

Thank you Meags that would be terrific if you could do the LTs. If not don't sweat it. I appreciate the thought. :D I also wanted to mention that I enjoyed Bo/Clint.
