I read the live thread on Soap Central. Three or four scenes of Dorian and Clint talking about David, the money, and whether or not to tell Viki. He wants to, but he can't, Dorian says she can. I not sure if they are at Dorian's house, but it sounded like it. Previews showed Todd calling Dorian.

Scene 1
LaBoulaie living room. Clint is sitting in a chair and Dorian takes off Clint's tie. Then, she massages his shoulders. They are talking about Jessica. Clint says that he won't be able to relax until he knows for sure that there won't be a problem with the transplant. Dorian fixes him a bourbon. Clint doesn't want to go home because he doesn't want to get into it with Asa about the $10 mill he has to fork over to Asa. Dorian says the important thing to remember is that David was the perfect match for Jessica and he ended up saving her life. Clint says he'd rather give the money to anything else, a charity, etc. than to David. Dorian says that a cowboy might say this extortion kind of "sticks in the craw." Clint says what he finds surprising is how worried David is about Viki finding out. Dorian says that David is a master manipulator, appearances are everything. Clint retorts that David doesn't want Viki to see this side of him. Clint says he thinks David really cares about her. Dorian has a slight look of surprise/doubt.
Scene 2
LaBoulaie living room. Dorian says Viki's feelings for David seem genuine. She sings his praises to everyone, Dorian says, and now that David has saved Jessica it will bring them closer. Clint thinks David will be leaving town soon. Dorian says that it will be awhile yet before that happens for legal and medical reasons. Dorian says that the longer they stay together the harder Viki's fall when David takes her money and runs. Clint counters that David doesn't need Viki's money because he has Clint's money. Dorian says David can never have too much money. Clint, who is making another bourbon, tells Dorian she can quit beating around the bush. He smiles, says that he knows that she wants him to break his promise to David to keep quiet to Viki about what David has done. Dorian's mouth is agape.

Scene 3
Laboulaie living room( They are beside the cocktail bar) Clint says that they both know she isn't crazy about all the attention David has been giving Viki. Dorian says there are other considerations. Dorian says that he is her only concern. She steps in back of Clint and hugs him. She says she knows how much Clint despises David for what he did and he can get even by telling Viki before David really does hurt her. Clint turns around and looks at Dorian. He says that he wouldn't mind showing Viki what her new best friend really is like but for any number of reasons, he can't tell her about the extortion. Dorian says, "BUT, I can."

Scene 4
LaBoulaie living room. Clint says that he knows that Dorian would be more than happy to tell Viki that David extorted the $10 mill. Dorian is defiant about it. She maintains that David bargained with Jessica's life and Viki and everyone else thinks that he made a grand humanitarian gesture. Dorian asks if Clint is trying to protect Viki. Clint says he wants to keep things mum to protect Dorian from herself. Clint steps closer to Dorian. He says they both wanted a truce with David and Viki and got it. Dorian smiles. "This from the man who looks after my conscience and all my other needs." She hugs him and purrs. Clint says, "Beginning to think this is a full service relationship." She says, "Sounds good to me." He tells Dorian he wants to see Jessie before lights out and he plans to see David. If David is gloating, Clint says, he might have to break his promise and tell Viki everything.

Dorian has the phone and Todd is saying he wants to talk to Blair. Dorian responds, "Todd?"

Observations:

I like that Clint has Dorian's number and didn't mind her manipulative game to get him to tell Viki about David. Also, I had wondered to what degree Clint noticed how jealous Dorian was of David and Viki becoming closer. He does know. He is not threatened by it. Furthermore, Clint doesn't seem majorly jealous about any of it. Clint has the 411 on Dorian, Viki and David and the dynamics in operation. That impresses me. Clint's main concern is that Dorian will drive herself nuts over it all because of her obsessive and possessive nature. This aspect of Clint is appealing to Dorian and it reinforces that he really doesn't want her to change.
