Scene 1
Capricorn. Cris/Antonio. Antonio is grumpy and at work when he shouldn’t be. Cris says that he is trying to run himself into the ground to prove he is Superman. They talk about Sarah. Cris says he doesn’t have to chase after her every minute of the day.
Buke mansion. Nigel/Sarah. Sarah shows up at the door. She is hurt because Nigel doesn’t recognize her. He lets her in. (Hunter is in the shadows)
Llanfair. Dorian finds Viki in the kitchen where Viki is. She says, “I hope you’re happy." She claims David is in "a miserable state " thanks to Viki.
Palace (lobby area). Natalie/Renee. Renee says Asa and Clint are proud of Natalie. Renee approaches Miles who is at the registration desk. Renee tells him with his legal problems he can’t stay. Natalie says, “So it’s guilty until proven innocent?”
Police Station. Talia/John. Talia tells him that the judge just granted a search warrant. She asks where it’s supposed to lead them. His reply is to Truman’s killer. They leave.


Scene 2
Palace. Renee/Natalie/Miles. Renee tells Natalie that she has a new policy and that is that she won’t allow criminals at the Palace. Natalie counters that Spencer lived there. Renee says, “Hence the policy.” Natalie further pleads Miles’ case.
The Buke Mansion. Nigel/Sarah. Clint is on a conference call. Sarah and Nigel chat. Sarah says that maybe Asa has been working Nigel too hard. She asks about his vacation time. He says he gets two weeks a year. Sarah says that Asa has a soft spot for her. She says that she will talk to Asa if Nigel helps her out with her grandfather. She wants him to back her up. Clint sneaks up behind her, overhears. She is surprised.
Rex’s Apt. Rex/Adriana are in bed. There is a knock at the door. It is the police. They have a key from the super. John comes in with Talia and others. The warrant is for evidence in relation to the murder of Spencer Truman. “You can’t do this!” Rex yells, as they begin the search.

Scene 3
Llanfair. Dorian reads a postcard from David. He is in Martinique. She reads that he is having a difficult time making a living; he's got a job. Viki says that her post card said the same; she insists David is doing fine. Viki thinks that it is good for him to have a job. Dorian is afraid he will become a gigolo. Viki dismisses her worries and insists this will be a learning experience and David will land on his feet. Dorian says that he will land on his back and his feet. She counters that Tai Chi lessons aside, she knows David better than Viki and he is not going to make it as a cabana boy. She continues that he has a far more "existential disposition" and the meaningless monotony will drive him to an early grave. Dorian claims Viki made David feel guilty and that is why he ended up giving back the $10 million that was "rightfully his.” Dorian demands, “ Give him his money and bring him home!”

Buke Mansion. Sarah/Clint. Nigel leaves. Clint accuses her of getting Nigel to shake down the family tree (not in a mean way.) Clint says that she is better off being straight with him. Sarah says that she needs money. She asks for some. He says, “No.”

Palace. Natalie/Renee. Nat says whatever happened to get Miles in trouble is not in black and white. Renee says that he is a Laurence; she says that she knows how to read people and she sees that he is guilty about something. Renee doesn’t understand why Natalie buys what Miles is dishing out after what happened between her and Mitch. Renee finally agrees to her request and lets Miles have a room.

Rex’s Apt. Rex and Adriana (still in bed) whisper about whether the police are going to find evidence. Police are searching. Rex wants to know why John is doing this. John says it is because Michael and Rex are hiding something. Furthermore, Rex was found holding Spencer's murder weapon, John reminds him.

Scene 4
Llanfair kitchen. Dorian says that she should have known Viki won’t get off her high horse to help. Dorian says that David wouldn’t be serving drinks if he had the money that is rightfully his; he could live the life that would allow him to make a meaningful contribution to society and even give money to some worthwhile charities. Viki laughs, says David is growing. Dorian says that he is fine the way that he is. Viki says, “Really? Have you forgotten about the aborted wedding?” Then she quickly apologizes. Dorian says that she sees what she is doing. “By keeping David unhappy, you are managing to keep me unhappy.” Viki says that is convoluted nonsense. Dorian insists she tried to use David to break up her and Clint and that didn’t work. Dorian adds that Viki is now trying to rub David’s current miserable state in her face, hoping that she will go running back to him. “It’s not going to work Viki! Clint and I are here to stay!” Viki has an upset expression.

Buke Mansion. Clint suggests Sarah get a job. Clint says that he spoke with Cord. She blames Clint for her getting cut off. Clint says that he wasn’t going to hide the fact that Sarah was in Llanview from her dad. Clint says that Cord felt that she would stay put if she didn’t have a bus ticket .Clint says she shouldn’t’ be mad at Cord and that Cord is just trying to be a dad. Sarah says it’s a little late for that. Clint says that Cord is just trying to get her to spend money wisely. Sarah says that her boyfriend didn’t even know that she had money and that she wasn’t wasteful. Clint says the point is she was lying to her parents. She says that at most she was sending misleading post cards and telling them what they wanted to hear so that they wouldn’t worry. He asks what happened to her. She says, “Todd Manning.” He says, “No, no, no. When did you become so untrustworthy?”

Capricorn. Antonio/Cris. Antonio is moody about the changes that have been made at the club. Cris is irritated with his brother; he says that he is going to try and find a different job. Cris says that Antonio is pissed about his life and wants to feel that he is in control of something. Cris says that he isn’t going to stick around if he screws around with the club. Antonio apologizes; he says Bo won’t let him work and Jamie is at day camp. He wants to keep busy so that he doesn’t think. Cris says that even staying busy doesn’t cut it. Antonio asks about Evangeline. Cris feels that she is awake on the inside trying to get out. He says that it’s difficult to live his life when she is frozen maybe for good and unable to love him back.

Rex’s Apt. The police are taking things out of the apartment… file cabinet, computer, shredder etc. John asks Rex, “Did you really think that you could lie to my face and get away with it?” Rex says that he is going to hate where this case leads. John leaves. Adriana wonders how much trouble are they in.

Scene 5
Llanfair. Viki tells her that she isn’t going to fight with her. Dorian says they aren’t fighting. She says that it is over. She says that she won Clint a long time ago. Viki gets up and opens the door. Dorian continues that Viki is lying in wait to tear her and Clint apart. Viki says that she is wrong. Viki tells Dorian that she can have Clint with her blessings. “But for Heaven’s Sakes, try and be happy!” Dorian questions, “What? I am happy!” Viki says, “Good then go and share it with Clint!” She tells her to let David live his life and stop wasting her time and Dorian's with nonsense. Dorian counters that she is a very fortunate woman who has two wonderful men in her life. As she leaves she says, “Protecting David and loving Clint will never be a waste of time!”

Buke mansion. Sarah says that Clint and her father want her to be a door mat. Clint suggests that she talk to her parents. Sarah feels like Cord is trying to control her and that is what the trust fund is all about. She didn’t ask for the trust fund but Cord set it up and then established the rules when she got used to it. Clint says that she is his Granddaughter and he will do what is good for her. He offers her an entry level job at BE. She says no thanks and then heads for the door. Clint asks how she is going to support herself. He tells her that he isn’t an enemy. She lies and says that she has a job at Capricorn. Clint looks worried like he is going to say something. She leaves (Hunter comes from the shadows and follows her.)

The Palace. Natalie/Miles. They talk about Marty. He doesn’t want to lose Marty. Natalie thinks he is better without her; Miles suggests maybe Nat doesn’t like Marty because of John. Nat says that he needs to let go of Marty; she says that he was playing house and it wasn’t real.

Rex’s Apt. Rex is talking to his attorney on the phone. Hangs up. He relates to Adriana that his attorney says that he doesn’t think he can get the search thrown out in court. Adriana suggests maybe Michael and Rex should just stick to their stories. Rex isn’t sure that they may not have found something on the search.

Police Station. Talia/John. Talia says they’ve been searching Rex’s hard drive and they are trying to retrieve deleted files. Spencer is mentioned a lot in Rex’s computer files—Rex found Hugh, etc. John is at his desk and at Rex’s computer , searching his files.

Scene 6
Capricorn. Antonio/Cris. Antonio suggests they pick up Jamie and have a free afternoon. Cris is going to get someone to cover the club and he is going to meet Antonio and Jamie at the aquarium. Antonio leaves.

The Palace. Miles/Natalie (still in the lobby) Miles says that it is going to be difficult staying at the Palace knowing that Renee doesn’t want him there. He thinks he needs an apartment. Nat says they do background checks (credit, references) and it won’t matter that he has the money. She gets an idea and says, “Come with me.”

Rex’s Apt. Rex says that if he goes down, it’s important that Adriana says that she doesn’t know anything. Adriana hopes that he didn’t have anything on the computer. Rex thinks that he had something in the computer but he deleted it.

Police Station. John is searching on Rex’s computer. He says, “What do we got here Balsom?”

Scene 7
Llanfair. Viki has David’s postcard and she is laughing. Nat comes to the back door and she is with Miles. She tells Viki that she has invited Miles to move in.

Buke Mansion. Nigel announces Dorian’s arrival. Clint takes her into his arms and she gives him several light pecks on the lips, cheeks. He laughs and then asks what made her stop by. She says that she has had a very difficult morning and needed a lift. She wonders what has him agitated. He says that he has just had a blow out with his granddaughter. He clarifies Sarah not Bree. They chuckle a little at that. Dorian remembers that Sarah is back in Llanview because she heard a little from Todd and Blair; she says her guess is that it involves money. Clint gives her a knowing look and points his finger so as to say bull’s eye. Dorian allows that Sarah is Tina’s daughter after all. Dorian asks, “How did she make out?” Clint answers, “She didn’t get anything. I told her to get a job.” Dorian smiles and says, “Good for you. Nothing builds character like good honest work!” She gives a chuckle. (Right Dorian.)

Capricorn. Sarah searches around for Cris and is grabbed by Hunter.

There are a series of scenes that cut back and forth from Rex having a conversation with Adriana to John searching out information. Rex is telling Adriana that if John finds anything in the deleted files, it would be the forged certificate of TJ. Rex says that he would have to have the certificate from Todd to piece it together. Of course John goes through the files and discovers the certificate was doctored. John questions, “What’s Todd’s kid's death certificate doing on your hard drive? I got you now Balsom.”

This is why I can't stand Viki. What a passive aggressive bitch! She quickly took it back but she knew exactly what she was doing. Here is my two-cent read on Dorian. She feels guilty for not taking David back because there is a part of her that will not forgive him for leaving her. Abandonment is her biggest issue; she doesn't rebound from that easily. Anyway, she still feels the need to take care of David. replyicon2.jpg It's almost like she feels like it's her fault or she is responsible for his plight because she won't take him back. Enter Clint. She is falling in love with him. If David had the money she would experience the freedom to not feel responsible for him--maybe. Hey, isn't David a 40-year-old man? Anyway, Viki knows how to push Dorian's buttons. That's my read on things. And did you notice Dorian said that she loved Clint? Yeah. She did.

I know! I had just and I stress just tunned in when she said that! I was like 'She finally admitted it. Now, how long 'till she tells him that?!

And as for the abandonment issues, yeah, you never really get over it. And it sure as hell hurts when someone leaves you behind like you are worthless.

There is always a hint of some truth in what Dorian says to Viki and vice versa (I don't know if it's Carlivati or Higley at this point). I pay attention to Dorian's blatant accusations and what Viki slips in and apologizes for saying. Dorian always comes off as the attacker because she doesn't hold back whereas Viki's mode is more one of passive aggression. So it stood out for me that Dorian sees what is happening with David as her way of taking care of him whereas she sees her future with Clint since she is falling in love with him. She also told Viki to get use to her and Clint because they are "here to stay." With Viki and Dorian scenes I usually get a heads up about Dorian; I actually get a read on both women. This is especially true when they are stuck together.
