Thanks for posting this Cheryl. Robin confirms what we've believed about Dorian. She still cares for past loves, and that includes Clint, which is interesting that she thinks of him that way. She may still love Herb, Mel, Joey, David, etc., but she's falling in love with Clint again - he's the one she wants to be with romantically.
The main point is that she gets to be with a man she still has feelings for and desires for himself, but her bonus is getting a "win" over Viki.
And with her feud with Viki - they both have shown that they don't like the other playing with their "used toys". Viki doesn't want Clint, but she also doesn't want him with Dorian. And, Dorian doesn't want David back, but she can't stand the thought of him being with Viki. Dorian even spelled it out to Viki - Dorian is trying to protect David (from himself, from Viki, from the world) but she's in love with Clint.
I am glad Robin gave her perspective on things because otherwise it's difficult to really tell if you are viewing things the way they are written and meant to be taken by the audience. I guess there is still a window of differing interpretation as to the writer's intent and the acting choices of the performer, but I'm going to side with Strasser. She is a professional and has been in this role far longer than any writer as OLTL scribe. Dorian is so over-the-top and posessive that it's worth note she doesn't stop loving a man once she gives her heart to him. Furtherstill, it doesn't translate into her wanting to bed the former lover or take up with him again in a romance. It means she is plain and simply jealous. Dorian said Clint is her first priority. Not only do I believe her, but I also believe she has cared for him through the years. In fact, Robin's interview reaffirms that interpretation. Why does she want to be with him? One need only go back to that scene in the Palace Bar where they talked about their previous affair. Both single, they saw an opportunity to pursue what remained between them.
