OLTL is selected as "Editors' Choice" in Soap Opera Digest for episodes that commemorated the 10,000th episode and the death of Asa Buchanan. This designation honors the best in Daytime for the week. As you know by now, the referred to episodes aired Aug. 16th and Aug. 17th. I just got my mag today or I would have put something in earlier. Anyway there is lots of praise for OLTL on pages 30 and 31 of the magazine. "If it weren't for the show deserving Editors' Choice, we'd have had a long list of people to choose from for Performer of the Week. Emmy noms should surely go to Robert S. Woods (Bo), for his portrayal of the son who believed he was never good enough for his Pa, and Jerry verDorn (Clint) as the son determined to prove him wrong."
