Robin Strasser of 'One Live to Live'

Dorian discovers a shocking secret this week on "One Life to Live," which results in yet another person living in her house.

"This girl, Langston, is over at La Boulaie all the time," explains RobinStrasser, who plays Dorian. (La Bou-laie is Dorian's fancy home.) "She spends the night. There's never a phone call from responsible parents checking up on her: 'Is she there? Is she okay?' Dorian has hyper-vigilance in relation to child-abuse issues because the Cramer women were all victims of child abuse. Two out of three are in mentalhospitals, so do the math."

Indeed, Dorian's two sisters remain institutionalized, so Dorian is all over Langston, her niece Starr's best friend.

"Dorian turns to [private investigator] Rex and says, 'Rex, baby, I've got a little job for you. Get into the house and find out what you can about these parents.' He steals a letter out of the mailbox and there's this funny scene about integrity and responsibility between these two characters about opening mail, and what's legal, or not."

What do the Keystone Kops discover?

"She opens this letter and it says that the parents are being given an award for their work in rescuing children worldwide," says Strasser. "Dorian gets on her high horse and calls the organization to say, 'This is ridiculous. They may be rescuing children internationally, but they're not taking care of their own.' That's when she's told that this is a posthumous award. This couple was killed the year before."

Turns out Langston's mom and dad died in a car accident, but the young orphan didn't tell anyone.

"The only options available are the kid entering the child welfare system or the Cramers stepping up to the plate," says Strasser.

So, Dorian invites Langston to come live at La Boulaie, which Strasser says leads to a funny moment behind the scenes.

"We shoot a little out of sequence," she says. "I'm blocking a scene and they're calling Trevor Saint John [Todd] to the set. He's in my kitchen. I say, 'Wait a minute, Todd's living here? He's not just walking through?' Turns out Todd's trying to make the marriage [to Blair] look good, so he's living at La Boulaie, too."

So that makes...?

"Dorian, Starr, Jack, Blair, Todd and, now, Langston," lists Strasser. "Luckily, it's a big house."
