Description: Happy Thanksgiving

Most of the first section was devoted to D/D and C/N. It's the next day. Dorian wakes up and realizes she's in bed with David and remembers what they did. She tells David he took advantage of her. He claims she took advantage of him by asking him to stay and comfort her. Downstairs, Nora and Matthew are having coffee. Clint comes in looksing mighty happy. Nora is a bit uncomfortable, which Matthew later calls her on. Nora looks down and sees a purse and thinks it belongs to Sarah who is on her way to the airport. Clint realizes that it is Dorian's purse. The ranch hand who greeted David, Alex and Dorian comes in a says it belongs to Dr. Lord. Clint and Nora immediately start looking guilty. Upstairs Dorian starts yelling at David and hitting him with a pillow. Clint is looking for Dorian and walks into the room.

Clint's pissed that Dorian has slept with David, in his father's house no less. Dorian said that she knows what he's been doing with Nora. Clint is acting innocent and then Dorian says she knows they are having an affair, that she saw them kissing in the stable. Clint asks why she didn't come forward and she says it's because she was shocked and upset.

Clint says "yes I kissed Nora and it was a mistake. What do you call this?
Dorian: a mistake, and we need to talk.
Clint, there's nothing to talk about except to say goodbye Dorian.

Clint goes back downstairs and Dorian runs after him (leaving David standing with a blanket around his waist so we can all see his pecs).

Dorian runs after Clint into the living room where Nora is standing, and Dorian calls her a jezebel. Nora stands aside so Dorian can see that Matthew is there, which makes Dorian pause a bit.

Nora sends M out of the room and Dorian quickly calls her a slut, claims that Nora set this all in motion when she took advantage of Clint mourning Asa and started seducing him. Clint defends Nora and yells at Dorian to put some clothes on and leave the ranch. Dorian said she won't leave until this is cleared up and Clint threatens to carry her out (I think that was it, it reminded me of when she showed up at Llanfair in her wedding dress). David comes down, still in his blanket and says he and Clint have to talk. Clint grabs the shotgun and threatens him with it.

Nigel has offered Alex his island and yacht to keep quiet about David being Asa's son.

Cute scene: Nash goes up to tell Jess and Natalie that Clint has a gun on David Vickers and Jessica starts for the door and says "Awesome."

David tells Clint that Dorian woke up saying that it was a mistake. That Dorian doesn't love him (David) he loves you (Clint), and that it only happened because she say him and Nora kissing. Clint finally puts down the gun and Dorian tells him that they need to talk in private. He doesn't want any more to do with her.

Dorian says they have to talk about the incident (not sure of that word), but Clint said it was a bedroom farce. Dorian insists they have to talk but Clint says "get out of here, what part of that don't you understand." Dorian leaves the room.

Hey Gin, thanks for typing this again. I am reading it. Sounds like an interesting show. I am feeling bad for both of them today.

LovesTheDrama - November 20, 2007 07:57 PM (GMT)
Dorian goes up to the room to dress. David says something to try to make her feel better but she tells him to shut up and says "I've lost him. I may have lost him for good."

Nora to Clint: Are you OK?
Clint: Yes, I just need to shower off this mess I fell into.

Yuk.

Sounds like they are both hurt. I would so like for them to be able to have a conversation.

No Dorian or Clint in the previews. It was all about people in Llanview having Thanksgiving, and also Viki and Charlie.

I know we are supposed to think that Clint and Dorian are over, but if Nora keeps her distance, I think they will be able to work through this.

Clint and Dorian love each other. So they are not over on that basis alone. However, Nora is still very much a part of the picture. Clint lives with her and I believe that will continue. Nora also has undermined the C/D relationship since Clint began spending time with her. We will see more of Nora and Clint but I am kind of interested in what will happen once Bo gets wind of what happened.

I'm hoping that Clint will have enough sense to move out of the mansion. If he wants to see where this thing with Nora is going, it would be best to see it from a distance.

Well you and I prefer that. Definitely. Gin, the writers are going for story mileage. Clint isn't over Dorian but he will start something with Nora. Therefore you have a triangle. I dont' think the intent is for him to be able to distance himself from Nora and work things out with Dorian. But I still can see that he loves Dorian. It's not finished in that sense.

ETA, Dorian is like a recurring theme in Clint's life. It's interesting when you look at their histories and how they intertwine. I will write about that soon.

Hey, I just got home and watched the show. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed Clint going after David with rifle. It was my favorite part of the show. clap.gif Plus, Clint going after Dorian to throw her outta the house was just perfect, mainly because it elevated the passion between them and drew attention to history. By the end of the show, I felt badly for both of them. They were both sad at their loss.
