"Every Little Bit Hurts" by Alicia Keys
Alicia Keys' voice is so soulful in this song. It speaks of the pain of wanting to be with someone who treats her cold. On OLTL, Clint broke up with Dorian after finding her in bed with David. Dorian told Clint she doesn't want to be with David. She wants to be with him. Clint and Dorian have returned to Llanview from Texas. Clint has decided to live with Nora in her house and maybe more. Dorian does not appear to have given up on the relationship. Truly, I hate that she won't let go. I don't even know if I can watch. Executive Producer Frank Valentini once said that he didn't see Dorian as a loser so I wonder about this story point. I am OK with them spending time apart before seeing that they still want each other, which hopefully would be the case. Yet, Dorian is relentless and in this circumstance, it makes her look desperate.

Dorian wakes up with David and soon realizes that she may have lost Clint, who discovers them in bed together.

I don't know if I am evil for enjoying the Bette Davis and Charles Coburn scene in "In This Our Life" but it was great fun to watch!
clint999.jpg So I just got my Nov. 20th issue of Soap Opera Digest and there is a write-up on Erika Slezak. On page 46 she comments on Brian Kerwin, who plays Charlie. "Oh, my goodness, what a charming man and a good actor and a delightful fellow!" she raves of Kerwin. "He's just so...he's another Jerry verDorn (Clint)! He's just that sweet and that terrific, and how could anybody be so lucky as to have two Jerry verDorns in their life? Jerry is just one of the great human beings on earth. He's just terrific, and Brian is very much like him. I don't even know if they've met yet!"
