"A Different Corner"

By George Michael

The stage has been set. Dorian Lord's lover Clint Buchanan cheats on her when he kisses Nora Hanen; then he promptly dumps Dorian when she sleeps with another man, David Vickers. In this music video with George Michael's "A Different Corner," Dorian plots revenge to bring down Buchanan Enterprises, in part with her knowledge that businessman Jared Buchanan (Banks) is committing fraud.

While in Texas, she meets a stranger name Charlie Balsom (Banks), who happens to be the boyfriend of her enemy, Viki Davidson and Jared's biological father; he rescues her from the side of the road after a hit and run. Later and in heinous manner, Dorian uses Charlie's web of secrets and lies to get even with Clint by destroying his company with the bonus for her of hurting Viki. Charlie becomes her victim when he gets in her way. She drugs and kidnaps him to keep him from revealing Jared is his son before she is able to do so and take over BE with the information. Before she pours alcohol down Charlie's throat (Charlie's an alcoholic), she asks for her dead husband Mel's forgiveness.

I'd say love was a magical thing
I'd say love would keep us from pain
Had I been there, had I been there

I would promise you all of my life
But to lose you would cut like a knife
So I don't dare, no I don't dare

'Cause I've never come close in all of these years
You are the only one to stop my tears
And I'm so scared, I'm so scared

Take me back in time maybe I can forget
Turn a different corner and we never would have met
Would you care

I don't understand it, for you it's a breeze
Little by little you've brought me to my knees
Don't you care

No I've never come close in all of these years
You are the only one to stop my tears
I'm so scared of this love

And if all that there is is this fear of being used
I should go back to being lonely and confused
If I could, I would, I swear
