Soap journalist Michale Logan has written his soap column for TV Guide since 1989. Before that, he wrote for Soap Opera Digest. His column still has many scoops and features in-depth interviews with stars and behind-the-scenes writers and executives. His selections of the year's bests are always highly anticipated. For her work in 2009, Logan selected Robin Strasser as the best actress on soaps.
It was tempting to detest her shameless One Life to Live character, Dorian Lord, who pretended to be Buddhist in order to snag a wealthy heir, then faked being lesbian to win the gay vote in the Llanview mayor’s race. But the timeless Strasser—who joined OLTL 30 years ago—magically made us laugh and care and, yes, even forgive. No one in soaps performs with such pride and passion.

I've added a Walk of Fame (WOF60), as a permalink that is located in the navigation bar below the main banner on the DIVA board. It's called "Charities." I wanted to focus on a few of the charities that Robin actively supports. I've also added a topic thread in the "Viva la Diva" forum of the DIVA board in recognition of charites.

Soap Central is celebrating 15 years. It is my go to online soap site when it comes to the message boards (though it's not always Dorian-friendly) but they also have features, news, spoilers, cast biographies, character profiles, recaps and recap archives, star birthdays, soap columns, and family trees. I often use it as a resource for background information on some of the articles I write for the DIVA board and for soap news. More recently, every Friday at 6:00PM Eastern/3:00PM Pacific, Dan J Kroll broadcasts Soap Central Live, which is a soap opera podcast with featured interviews.
