Thank you for this wonderful chronology. Back in the Dorian/Harry & Dorian/Jon days, I used to keep track daily of what was happening and when. (Since I missed a lot of these episodes, I think I'll do some reading today. )

I seriously think the only thing that will be acknowledged is David's words to Clint.

Who knows where the cufflink or the 50k are right about now! The David/Clint talk will have to come up at one point. But like I said earlier. I don't think I could ever say to somebody..."hey your ex told me you're in love with me so what's up with that?" I mean I don't know how they can even write that into a conversation...

Thanks for posting this Cheryl! Yet more evidence of which relationship is getting play. Unlike the imaginary one between ex's who happen to share adult children and nothing more!

If Dorian wants to get the love talk out in the open, she could bring it up. She knows what she and David talked about before he went over to Clint's and told Clint about her setting up the dinner. Dorian could bring up that conversation and ask Clint if David told him anything else. Then, if Clint wants to get the love talk going, he could say "Yes, David said you were falling in love with me when I dumped you. Are you still?" I'm pretty sure Dorian would want Clint to make some type of declaration before she said that she is.

That is the perfect scenario for the conversation Ginny. Yeah that would work.
I'd could see it come up as you say and him kind of hem and haw (which he does) that David discussed something else with him and then she could get the idea and start getting mad that he told Clint and then he can get mad she's mad and the blurt it out and wham it's out there! Then they both admit their feelings and ACT on them! See we're so much better than TIIC already.

That would be great, especially the ACTing on it part. I said last week that I didn't expect Clint to say "I love you" anytime soon; but I could see him doing it if they were having some type of argument--he would blurt it out. Soon please.

I don't care how it happens that their feelings coming to fore. I could even see Clint mentioning how Dorian must have felt seeing him with Viki or even being locked in the closet and rushing to Capricorn only to witness him with Viki. That's all it takes. He has already mentioned that David told them she was behind setting up the dinner. It's not that much of a stretch and it would touch upon some compassion for that hellacious night Dorian experienced. That's what I want too. She went through a lot of trouble to plan the evening and even rushed there after her panic attack.
David is going to be a part of Dorian's life through November so I'm not anticipating anything of great significance happening in the C-Lo relationship prior to that because Clint can't be too fond of Dorian and David living together. But, I wouldn't mind being surprised. It's interesting that October seems to have been so eventful. I think my favorite month was July.

I actually created this list of airdates (thanks for posting it Cheryl!) because I was curious as to how many shows they actually had that developed their romance and how it laid out over time since Clint arrived back in town. Now that I can see it this way, it does appear obvious that tptb were going for C/D. I always wondered if that was the plan no matter who was cast as Clint or if they had waited to see Jerry's chemistry with Robin. I still can't tell if tptb are interested in seeing how far C/D can go or if this was only meant as a diversion until they were ready for C/V.

Anyway, I doubt we'll hear of his cufflink again - it's not a big deal to me. She probably gave it back to him on one of those occasions that we never got to see (Clint said he spent an awful lot of time with Dorian and got to know the human being beneath the facade). I just always wonder about the cufflink when I remember those episodes, since she made a big deal about trying to return it.

If we don't hear about the 50K again, why have her do it at all? We know she's trying to attract Clint's attention, but so far we haven't seen him really responding to any of her attempts, except the romantic dinner, but he was more confused than anything about that, since champagne wouldn't solve their problems (loosen their inhibitions maybe ). He reacted to David's news that Dorian was falling in love with him and that she saw him at the dinner with Viki, but he seems to be ignoring that information. He didn't really react to Dorian being locked in a closet, while it was Viki who remembered Dorian's claustrophobia. Clint's getting all this information, but nothing's happening yet.

I don't know how long it takes Clint to admit he loves someone, but I would like some acknowledgement one way or another of what he knows (even if it's not to Dorian). He can even bluster about it if he wants to, but we shouldn't be left hanging until all the other Buchanan plots are done. One of the medianet pictures for Jessica's wedding shows C/V looking confused - behind them (across the church aisle in another pew) you can see David and Dorian sitting together. I would hope there's some reaction from Clint at seeing David and Dorian possibly escorting each other to Jess' wedding (unless David just insists on sitting with Dorian). (BTW, that picture also shows Viki wearing her rings, and she also had them on during Tuesday's episode at the hospital for Kelly's baby. Is this a production goof, or did Viki trick Natalie into taking off John's ring?)

Damn Emily! If I need a private eye I'm hiring you! You have a VERY good eye for detail. Yeah, I just want some acknowledgement from Clint with regard to the information he has received. Does he care, not give a damn? What? Does he want Dorian back? What more does she need to do? Oh yeah, get rid of David. Whatever. I want Clint to talk to someone about it because as you say Emily, why bother showing it to us to begin with to just drop it? To me he comes off as insensitve. Just as Dorian comes off as disingenious about wanting him back when she's got David underfoot.

The ring thing with Viki is a puzzlement. Again, a big deal made out of it only to have the ring return? Or was the initial off-with-the-rings scene all for Natalie's benefit? It's sloppy either way. Good eye Emily and thanks for the chronology.

You are so terrific! These are fun to read. In some cases better to have read about what happened than to have watched. And you know, we never got answers to these hanging details from your chronology in 2006, did we?

Yeah. This happened on my birthday. I REALLY do not want Dorian alone for the holidays. Ugh! Yeah I think I decided to make music videos because I was disgusted with the show. Dec/Jan were very bad months for me as a C/D fan.

That troubled me as a Dorian fan. Fear of abandonment is at the core of this character.

All that wait time and I think it was only one day in soapland.

That's exactly what happened but ahem, maybe it's just my interpretation.

They need to take a trip together where we watch them have some fun.

I enjoyed the way this C/D scene played out. I think I will put it in the Gallery.

Clint wasn't going to put up with that.

That dialogue was awkward but I did like the part about her being Mrs. Clint Buchanan when he comes back for a visit.

10/16/07 - Later that day, an upset and worried Clint finally connects with Dorian; Dorian gets defensive and accuses Clint of wanting to control her life; Dorian explains that a family problem came up and she was eventually going to tell him, but she doesn't appreciate his mood and expectations of her; Clint says he has expectations because he loves her; Dorian back-tracks and suggests that they need to think about where their relationship is headed and if they even want to get serious about it
10/17/07 - Dorian tells Clint about Langston, but rejects his offer to help; feeling disregarded, Clint wonders if Dorian feels the same about their relationship as he does; Clint starts to leave, but Dorian pulls him into a passionate kiss; Clint wonders if he should keep his feelings to himself and if she liked things better with David; Dorian insists that David was fun at the time, but she needs a man like Clint now; suddenly called away to help Starr and Langston, Dorian tells Clint to show himself out, making him feel disregarded again; Dorian tries unsuccessfully to keep Social Services from taking Langston; as Clint is leaving Dorian's, Nora arrives wanting information from Dorian about Lindsay's recovery, one more thing Dorian didn't tell Clint
10/19/07 - Dorian goes to Bo for help in getting Langston out of the group home
10/24/07 - Dorian and Blair meet with Langston's social worker, and Blair offers to become Langston's foster mother; Clint gets a call from Asa's lawyer to set up the time to read Asa's will
10/25/07 - After much discussion, the social worker agrees to let Blair become Langston's foster mother; Clint notifies the family about the reading of Asa's will; Clint returns home to learn that Renee has invited Jared to stay at the mansion, leaving both Clint and Bo suspicious

11/01/07 - Clint asks Dorian to go to Texas with him for the reading of Asa's will; Dorian declines as Langston needs her, but she changes her mind when she learns that Nora is going; however she has to completely decline when she hears that the social worker is coming to interview Blair, but Blair is out of town
11/02/07 - When the social worker starts to back out of the deal due to Blair's absence, Dorian offers to be Langston's foster mother instead of Blair, which the social worker accepts
11/06/07 - The Buchanans arrive at the Texas ranch for the reading of Asa's will; unable to sleep, Nora and Clint keep each other company while they try to concentrate on their respective work projects; Dorian checks in with Starr to make sure that Langston returned to the group home before curfew; after getting inspiration from Starr, Dorian calls Clint, but is infuriated when Nora answers his phone after Clint has gone for coffee
11/07/07 - Nora apologizes to Clint for answering his phone, indicating that Dorian was really mad; Clint assures Nora that it's all right and returns Dorian's call, leaving a message that she can call back if she still wants to talk
11/08/07 - The next morning, Asa's lawyer arrives with the video will
11/09/07 - Asa begins his will by presenting personal gifts to his family (Clint receives Asa's gold spurs, to always keep him ahead of the race); stunning everyone, Asa leaves the ranch to Chuck Wilson III and the mansion to Nora; Asa then mentions a long-lost son, further shocking his family
11/12/07 - After learning of another long-lost son, Clint demands that Nigel tell them who it is immediately, however Nigel chooses to keep Asa's confidence; Roxy urges Dorian to go to Texas and let Nora know that Clint is taken
11/13/07 - Dorian is shocked to learn that David and Alex are married, and Alex invites herself and David to join Dorian in going down to see the Buchanans in Texas; Asa continues to surprise his family when he lays out his plan for them to work together at BE before they earn the bulk of his estate; after the video will ends, Clint leads everyone in a toast to Asa
11/14/07 - Dorian, David, and Alex stop at the Bonjour Cafe on their way to the ranch and almost have a run-in with Viki, who does everything she can to avoid them seeing her
11/15/07 - During a family barbeque after the will reading, Clint and Matthew challenge Nora to go horseback riding
11/16/07 - Dorian, David, and Alex arrive at the ranch, and Dorian learns from Nigel that Clint and Nora are on a ride together, so Dorian goes looking for them; in the stables, Clint and Nora joke around as he tries to teach her the basics of riding a horse; Clint and Nora start talking about friends finding romance, and caught up in the closeness of the moment they kiss just as Dorian finds them
11/19/07 - Not knowing that Dorian has seen them, Clint and Nora break off the kiss when they realize what's happening; they don't want the kiss to ruin their friendship but wonder if they can forget it happened; Clint admits to being attracted to Nora, but he loves Dorian and wants to make that relationship work; David gets a distraught Dorian to tell him why she's so upset; not wanting to be alone, Dorian asks David to stay and his comfort becomes passionate
11/20/07 - The next morning, Dorian panics when she wakes up in bed next to David and realizes what she's done; Clint learns that Dorian is at the ranch, only to find her in bed with David; Dorian wants to talk things through with Clint, but he wants her to leave; when David tries to speak up, Clint demonstrates his anger by pointing a rifle at him
11/26/07 - As Dorian prepares to leave the ranch, she tries one last time to get Clint to discuss things; Clint insists this has to be the end of them; both admit that they tried to make their romance work, despite the historical obstacles, because they really cared about the other; Clint shows Dorian the door and doesn't look back as Dorian walks away; Alex unknowingly hits Dorian with her car as both are leaving the ranch
11/27/07 - Alone, Clint thinks about Dorian, and later tells Nora that he and Dorian broke up; while they talk, Dorian lies unconscious in the bushes; when Dorian moans, Clint is about to investigate when David appears and snaps at them for hurting Dorian; Dorian remains undiscovered until Charlie Banks finds her when he comes to the ranch; Nora convinces Clint to stay on at the mansion when she hears his plans to move out
11/28/07 - Charlie and Chuck help Dorian diagnose her injuries, and Charlie listens as Dorian rants about losing the man she loves; Dorian suggests that Charlie accompany her back to Llanview to find the person he is seeking
11/29/07 - The next morning in Llanview, Dorian sends Charlie on his way with new information on his "friend" and then tells Blair what happened between her, Clint, and Nora, vowing to get back at Nora for crossing her; at the Buchanan mansion, Bo updates Clint and Nora on Jared's background, as they wonder who Asa's long-lost son is; Clint and Nora do not tell Bo that they kissed
11/30/07 - Nigel "reveals" to Clint and Bo that Jared is Asa's long-lost son; even though Nigel tries to convince the brothers of this "truth," Clint and Bo refuse to accept Jared into the family without proof

12/03/07 - Clint, Bo, and Natalie try to process the information that Jared is Asa's long-lost son; Dorian tries calling Clint but he won't answer his phone; Dorian goes to see Clint in person, only to overhear Jared and Charlie arguing about Charlie being Jared's father; Dorian returns home to ponder this new information
12/04/07 - Still suspicious, Clint and Bo demand a DNA test from Jared; Jared agrees, but switches his own hair for David's hair sample, with Nigel's help
12/05/07 - Dorian is approved to be Langston's foster mother, and Langston is officially welcomed into the family
12/06/07 - Nora questions Jared at Clint's request, which angers Renee; Clint comforts Nora after she receives word of Marty's death; Nora realizes she has to find Cole
12/07/07 - Nora searches for Cole at Dorian's, who won't give Nora a straight answer; Dorian again accuses Nora of stealing Clint from her, just as David arrives; Nora informs Dorian that Clint is crazy about her [Dorian] but Dorian messed up by sleeping with David; after Nora leaves, Dorian and David chat about what happened in Texas; David thinks Dorian should fight for Clint if she loves him, but Dorian thinks it's too late for her and Clint and invites David back into her life
12/10/07 - Dorian comes on to David, but he refuses the invite saying she shouldn't settle for him when she's really in love with Clint; Dorian accepts being friends with David, with benefits
12/11/07 - David and Dorian say good-bye, until next time
12/12/07 - While looking for Todd, Viki ends up visiting with Dorian; Viki brings up Clint finding Dorian in bed with David, and Dorian blames Viki for hurting Clint like that in the past so that he's unable to work things out with Dorian; Dorian describes the charming, handsome man who helped her after the hit and run, not knowing he is Viki's Charlie
12/14/07 - Dorian vents to Adriana about her troubles with Clint in Texas; Clint questions Nigel about what he knew about Asa's long-lost son and when; Renee asks Clint to drop the attitude about Jared; the family gathers to hear the DNA results and all except Renee are disgusted to hear that Jared is proven as Asa's son
12/19/07- Dorian spends the day shopping with Blair, visiting Rex and Adriana, and trying to visit Addie, who is unavailable because she's resting
12/21/07 - Dorian hosts her family's Christmas celebration - Blair and Adriana start fighting, and everyone is shocked when a normal Addie arrives
12/24/07 - Addie and her doctor insist she's cured by her new medication; everyone but Dorian is thrilled to see the new Addie; Dorian worries that Addie will eventually suffer a set-back, while Addie just wants to enjoy the life she's been missing out on
12/26/07 - Dorian sees the headline about Jared being Asa's son; Clint vents to Nora and Nigel about the Jared problem; still grieving his father, Clint is comforted by Nora with a hug and almost-kiss, just as Dorian arrives to see Clint; defensive and accusing Nora of taking advantage of Clint, Dorian decides not to tell Clint what she knows about Jared; before Dorian can start working on Jared, she receives a call from Blair that Addie is missing
12/27/07 - While looking for Addie, Dorian rants to Blair that Clint must have led her on and made her care about him, and now those feelings are distracting her from the really important things, like finding Addie; they track Addie to Capricorn and eventually convince her to celebrate New Year's Eve at home with them
12/31/07 - Clint and Nora find themselves at home alone on New Year's Eve; they discuss the problems of the past year, vowing to do better in the new year; realizing that they missed the actual New Year, they turn the clock back and celebrate their own count-down
